Saturday December 5th it’s the Victoria Truck Light Parade leaving from Ogden Point at 5:45pm. Bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Greater Victoria Food Banks.
Also on Saturday, starting at 6:30pm, it’s Christmas in Cook St. Villiage starring Santa and his Christmas Llama (it’s the new Reindeer??) Bring a donation to the Mustard Seed Food Bank. NOTE: Santa and Llama NOT exactly as shown.
JOY TO THE WORLD!! The Festival of Trees is all aglow at the Fairmont Empress! Through January 23rd, swing by the Empress and vote for your favourite decorated tree. Robin and Scott McGregor from KOOL Afternoons were there last night and give a huge thumbs up to Olympic Tree and Upside Down Tree. Robin and Brian and Scott McGregor weighed in on this one, asking “Is an affair ever forgivable?” We were surprised that more people didn’t agree with Brian, saying “once a cheater always a cheater.” More than half of Kool listeners agree with Robin, saying a couple can work through infidelity if there is genuine remorse and an effort to rebuild trust. If cheated on, Scott wants a speed boat.
