Thanks to everyone who came out to our INAUGURAL 2012 Cycle of Hope launch today at Trek Victoria. My friend Cindy Lister recently lost her father to ALS and decided she wanted to do a bike tour in rememberance of her dad…to which I said “well…you’re not going alone!” Enter a group of amazing women and cyclists: Trish Fougner, Brenda Houston, Sara Wegwitz, Shawn Garside McKean and myself (shown above with Paralympian David Cook and Mayor Dean Fortin). Add one awesome past Tour de Rock Trainer: JP Robinson (also shown above). Shake well…and VOILA! On August 8th, we will embark on a 650km bike ride starting in Kamloops and ending in Hope. Along our route, we will be stopping to spread awareness of ALS and to take donations whenever possible. If you think you can help, please go here http://cycleofhope.ca/and check out some of our amazing online auction items, or make a donation. Life is a privilidge. xo Robin
